Our story
It all started in 2016, when their congregations merged.
They were just friends for a few years, just seeing each other at the meetings, in service, and at gatherings.
Fast forward to 2019 when everything changed...
They were working together and talking a lot.
David finally had the courage to ask her to get ice cream with another friend, to tell her how he felt.
Melanie felt the same!
A couple of months later, they were dating.
David tried to make their couple nickname "Del."
But Melanie preferred "DMC."
8 months in, the pandemic hit...
That involved a lot of changes for them both, but here they are nearly 2 years later...
Engaged.
They're getting married on Saturday, October 9th.
